Student Hub — academic operations, in one system.

Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”. Built and operated by WuWei Labs' founder — who also runs the department, which means the builder lives with every consequence of the design. In production since 2025.

The problem

Academic work is not one workflow — it's dozens of small ones that quietly fragment across tools: assignments announced in class, email or chat; submissions collected across scattered links; grading tracked in spreadsheets; attendance lists living apart from course sessions; materials shared inconsistently; students asking the same “what do I need to do?” questions.

The real problem wasn't effort. It was that the system forced teachers and students to spend energy coordinating work instead of doing it.

What was built

Courses: Course pages, groups, enrolled students, materials, slide decks
Assignments: Publishing, deadlines, rubrics, submission tracking
Grading: Teacher grading queues, feedback, grade sync, status tracking
Attendance: Scheduled sessions with QR check-in, session-linked assignments
Student dashboard: Next actions, due work, grades, progress visibility
Teacher operations: Control room: today's classes, pending grading, recent submissions
Department view: Schedules, staff and course loads, conflicts
Announcements: Targeted by course/year, with read tracking and notifications
Theses: Chapter tracking, mentor assignment, thesis library

Scale

The platform serves the department's students and teaching staff across multiple courses and groups, in daily production use. Exact usage numbers will be published here once verified against the production database — described until then, not counted. That's a deliberate policy: every number on this site is verifiable.

The pattern, not the industry

Student Hub is an education platform, but the shape is common to most businesses: too much work happening in email, spreadsheets and chat; teams losing time coordinating instead of executing; managers lacking visibility until something breaks. WuWei Labs builds systems for that class of problem — map the real workflow, find the manual loops, then build the operational layer that lets the organization move with less friction.
